On Saturday, my mom, aunt and I visited my brother at Virginia Tech for his early birthday celebration.
It was my first visit to Tech, and it was so beautiful there.

We picked the perfect day to visit. The weather was gorgeous, and we spent the day looking around, going out to eat, and doing a little shopping. We had such a good time, and I was sad that it went by so fast.

Happy (early) birthday to you, little brother! I can't believe you're finally 21!
I love you, and I'm so proud of you.
[Today is the fifth anniversary of the tragedy at Virginia Tech. Let's all take a minute to remember the 32 people who lost their lives that day.]

ReplyDeleteHi Megan! I just discovered your blog for the first time today. Um, are you in my head?! I love all things monogrammed, JCrew, yoga, to-do lists, and soy lattes! We must be distant relatives or something ;-). Also, do you live near Tech? Because I (sort of) do...maybe an hour away? Hope your day is a fabulous one~
ReplyDeleteLooks like a very pretty school. I still remember where I was that day. My friend at work was really scared cause she had friends with siblings that went there.
